This school has amazing programs. Children learn about artists in art class, learn to play lots of instruments in music class. There are programs for ESL students, gifted students, and all types of extra help for children with special needs. The teachers work very hard and the staff is exceptional. They genuinely care about every person who walks thru the doors. My children are learning at an exceptional rate, both in reading and math. The PTO tries to help the school with programs and funding. My family is all very happy with SRE!!!!!

It was horrible. The Teachers HIT ME! IN THE BALLLLLLLSSS. children bribe the principle for As and the spanish teacher yells at us to punch ourselves and she gives us all Fs no matter what!!!!!!!!!! Dx but there was a big rumor going around that garfield 2: tale of two kitties was a better school thern that one.

It was okay but it wasn't as good as Garfield 2: A tale of two kiddies. 0/10000 NO GARFIELD IN IT DON'T BOTHER ENROLLING

Sunset Ridge Elementary is a good school. Parents are very involved and there are many extra activities to take part in and opportunities to volunteer. Unfortunately, there is a Full Day Kindergarten teacher that came to the school on acedemic probation from another school in the district who is unfit to teach. Many parents enroll there kids in another school for K to avoid this teacher and then transfer back to Sunset Ridge for 1st grade. The principal of this school, although relatively new, has done absolutely nothing to remedy the situation.

Works with each individuals needs and the staff as a whole is very open and approachable. I have never heard one parent have anything bad to say. VERY involved parents/community.
